Dress your best
Wear your best dress/clothing. It does not need to be the latest fashion but do not pick a clothing style that is 20 years outdated. Wear clothes that are attractive and are comfortable for you. This will help boost your self esteem.
Do not ever dress up just to please other people. It is not your job to make everyone happy. But do not dress inappropriately either. Wearing a thong bikini in places of worship for example will surely make you the center of attraction, or more likely, distraction. Wear clothes that are suitable for the occasion and event.
Move on from your mistakes
